The Bureau of Gender Affairs is an organization dedicated to ensuring that there is gender equality in the workplace by facilitating gender mainstreaming of National Development Policies and Programmes, providing technical assistance, advising NGO's (Non- Governmental Organizations) and all Government agencies on matters of great importance that affect both sexes, liasing with local, regional and

international agencies working in the areas of gender development and the participation in the activities of these particular agencies, undertaking the challenge to eliminate gender violence by educating individuals to effective remedies, evaluating and monitoring gender awareness in Government policies, plans and programmes in all sectors and investigating all causes, consequences and the frequency of gender based violence.
