A Proud Moment for Government Titumir College BNCC Contingent
The Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) played a distinguished role in the 56th Independence and National Day Parade, held today at the National Parade Ground, Tejgaon. This year’s ceremony was particularly historic, marking the return of the combined forces parade to this venue after an 18-year hiatus.
As the "second line of defense, " the BNCC’s participation in this prestigious event underscores the organization's deep integration with the nation's formal military and paramilitary structures.
The parade was commanded by Major General SM Asadul Haque, GOC of the 9th Infantry Division.
The event featured a spectacular display of national pride, including a flag-bearing skydive by 26 skilled from 10000 ft and a precision flypast by MiG-29 fighter jets. President Mohammed Shahabuddin inspected the parade and took the salute, accompanied by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
Representation of Government Titumir College
It is a matter of great pride that six cadets from the Government Titumir College BNCC Contingent successfully participated in this year’s National Parade. Their presence on such a momentous stage reflects the dedication, discipline, and high standard of training maintained by our contingent.
We honor their commitment to representing our institution at the highest level of national ceremony.
