In solemn remembrance of the martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice during the historic July Mass Uprising 2024, Bangladesh Marine Academy, Barishal organised a befitting series of programmes to commemorate their sacrifice and uphold the enduring spirit of 36th July.
The observances featured the screening of a documentary portraying the history and significance of the July Uprising, followed by essay and speech competitions, where participants reflected on the movement’s history, significance, leadership, sacrifices, and its aspirations for meaningful institutional reform and a better Bangladesh.
The programme also brought together cadets, instructors, faculty members, and staff for a "Priti Bhoj " , symbolising unity, fraternity, and collective remembrance.
The observance concluded with a special Dua Mahfi, offered in memory of the martyrs of the July Uprising and with prayers for peace, prosperity, justice, and the building of a better Bangladesh.
