Educo organised a three-day training on Gender-Responsive Programming from 23–25 August 2026 in Cox’s Bazar, bringing together 22 staff members from development and humanitarian programmes. The training provided a space to deepen knowledge, exchange diverse experiences, and explore evolving gender-related challenges and approaches, including gender concepts, equality, equity and justice, gender policy and practice, power dynamics, gender mainstreaming and inclusion, gender analysis tools, protection and safe programming, GAM, and gender-responsive programming for adolescents and youth.
Through quizzes, discussions, debates, role plays, card-based exercises, presentations, and group work, participants engaged in practical learning and strengthened their understanding of integrating gender-responsive approaches across sectors and contexts. The training encouraged active participation, experience sharing, and practical reflection.
The training combined two days of interactive learning with a field visit on the third day, connecting learning with practical programming realities. Diverse expertise from , , , , and reinforced a shared commitment to advancing inclusive, practical, and gender-responsive programming across development and humanitarian contexts.
