📢 **Two-Day Basic First Aid Training Successfully Completed!**
the **Two-Day Basic First Aid Training Course** organized by the **Red Crescent Youth, Rajuk Uttara Model College Unit** has been successfully completed at the Rajuk Uttara Model College campus.

Over these two impactful days, our newly selected volunteers gained valuable knowledge about the inspiring history and humanitarian mission of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, along with the fundamental principles that guide our service to humanity.

The training covered essential lifesaving skills, including:
✔️ Concepts and principles of First Aid
✔️ Qualities, duties, and responsibilities of a First Aider
✔️ Choking management
✔️ CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) techniques
✔️ Basic emergency response skills

Today marked the final day of this meaningful journey. We sincerely express our heartfelt gratitude to the college authority, especially our honorable Principal Sir, for their continuous support and encouragement in making this program a success.

Special appreciation goes to all our dedicated youth volunteers who showed remarkable commitment, discipline, and enthusiasm throughout the course — even while observing the holy month of Ramadan. Their spirit truly reflects the values of humanity, service, and compassion.

This training is not just about learning skills — it is about building confidence, responsibility, and the courage to save lives. Our youth are now better prepared to stand beside humanity in times of need.

Together, we move forward with stronger commitment and a bigger heart to serve. ❤️

📢 **Two-Day Basic First Aid Training – Day 1 Successfully Completed!**

The **Red Crescent Youth, Rajuk Uttara Model College Unit** successfully conducted the first day of its two-day *Basic First Aid Training Course* at the Rajuk Uttara Model College campus for the newly selected volunteers.

On the first day, participants learned about the inspiring history and humanitarian mission of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, along with the core values that guide our service to humanity.

The training sessions also covered essential first aid skills, including:
✔️ Concept and principles of First Aid
✔️ Qualities, duties, and responsibilities of a First Aider
✔️ Management of choking
✔️ CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) techniques
✔️ Basic emergency response skills

The interactive sessions helped our young volunteers gain practical knowledge and confidence to respond effectively during emergencies.

We look forward to the second day of training, where participants will continue developing their lifesaving skills and strengthening their commitment to humanitarian service.

On the occasion of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha, a small team from RCYRUMC took to the streets to provide "Shemai", a festive delicacy of the Eid, to those who matter the most in our society. As we celebrate the spirit of giving and togetherness, we wish everyone a joyful and blessed Eid filled with happiness and harmony.

"Cut the trees, we need more space for infrastructure and industries."

We do not hesitate to say such a thing in terms of our comfort or consumption. However, by doing this, we are harming the environment, which may not be as prominent to us at the moment, but our future generations will have to pay the price for our misconduct. By doing small things, such as- planting trees, be it small or large, avoiding littering, reusing things which can be reused, being sustainable and conservative in terms of consumption, we can save our environment.
Be this World Environment Day be a reminder to us to preserve the world for our future generations and for all the beautiful living beings that inhibit our place of living. Happy World Environment Day!

Celebrating humanity in action- Happy World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day.

Commemorating the birth day of our founder, Jean Henry Dunant, the day inspires us to follow in his footsteps of hope, kindness and service in distress. Reminding the infamous Battle of Solferino, the aftermath, and the founding of ICRC, the day motivates us to keep being in service.

We, at RCYRUMC, stand proud-uniting the hearts of our youths, remembering that humanity always comes first.
