Lord Robert Baden-Powell (1857–1941) was a British Army officer and the founder of the Boy Scouts movement. His leadership and innovative ideas led to the establishment of the Boy Scouts in 1907, a global youth organization aimed at building character, teaching survival skills, and promoting outdoor activities. Baden-Powell's original work with the Boy Scouts was based on his military experiences, and his book *Scouting for Boys* became a foundational text for the movement.
Baden-Powell was also known for his service in the British Army, particularly his role during the Siege of Mafeking in the Second Boer War (1899–1900), which made him a national hero in Britain. Later, he spent much of his life promoting Scouting worldwide, and his ideas and teachings continue to influence youth organizations globally.
Happy Birthday Baden-Powell
