Parents were oriented on how Formative Assessment will be carried out and how it will support their childrenโ€™s learning, progress and overall development.

The orientation helped parents understand that assessment will go beyond examination marks. Bangladesh International School and College (BISC), Mohakhali proudly hosted a prestigious Crest Award Ceremony to celebrate and acknowledge the outstanding achievements of the SSC Batch 2026.

We take pride to say that our students have achieved this remarkable success after an extraordinary academic journey.They successfully adapted two years of the new curriculum, followed by an intensive year of preparation under the SSC syllabus.The transition demanded flexibility, commitment and tremendous effort and our students rose to the challenge with remarkable confidence and resilience.

And by the grace of Almighty Allah..the Omnipotent...BISC (Mohakhali) proudly secured 3rd position among all the educational institutions in Dhaka City and 1st position among all the schools in Dhaka Cantonment.This is indeed a moment of great pride to our entire BISC family and a true reason to celebrate.

The Chief Guest, Brigadier General Md.Rafiqul Islam, SUP, ndc, afwc, psc (Retd)... Principal BISC Mohakhali,graced the occasion with his presence.
The proud parents accompanied their children in this joyous occasion.

The SSC -2026 Crest award ceremony began with a special prayer, expressing gratitude to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala for His countless blessings and for granting success to the students.

A particularly touching moment of the ceremony came when Zahratul Barira and Areeb Islam Shehzad, representing all the successful students, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their teachers, parents and Principal for their continuous support, guidance and encouragement.

The Coordinator Ms.Sharmin Jahan Shanti delivered an inspiring speech, followed by an address from the Vice Principal Md.Abdul Jalil. The Principal then shared his valuable words of appreciation and encouragement before presenting the prestigious Crest Awards to all 89 GPA-5 achievers.

These crests are more than awards.They are the symbols of our students perseverance, commitment and the excellence they have demonstrated throughout their academic journey.

The celebration continued with a special treat and a memorable photo session with the Principal, teachers and their proud parents. The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, giggles and, above all, deeply emotional moments as proud parents watched their children receive recognition for their remarkable accomplishmen.

Some students make us proud because of what they achieve. A rare few make us proud because of who they are. Toky Yasar Ayman is one of those rarest gems.

Alhamdulillah, our Toky has achieved an outstanding 10 A*s in Cambridge O Level, May/June 2026 Session, including the World Highest Mark in Mathematics D. An exceptional academic achievement indeed, MashaAllah! โœจ

But Tokyโ€™s story is not just about 10 A*s.

Toky represents a rare combination of academic brilliance, artistic talent, leadership and exemplary character. He is the kind of student who can excel in the classroom, shine on the stage, lead with confidence, and yet remain remarkably humble and grounded.

A talented TV artist, singer, reciter and actor, Toky has earned accolades in national-level competitions and has participated with distinction in numerous school events, cultural programmes and stage performances. He became the National Champion in Rabindra Sangeet at the National Education Week 2023, and the First Runner-up in 2022. In 2024, he became Champion in Nazrul Sangeet and Classical Music in the inter-school competitions in Dhaka Logistics Area. He has also received prizes in music competitions organised by the Bangla Academy and Bangladesh Shishu Academy, as well as in Poetry Recitation, Essay Writing and Art Competitions at the inter-school level. He has also been a School Prefect at BISC.

Yet, perhaps the most beautiful thing about Toky is who he is beyond his achievements.

Toky is a well-mannered, caring, respectful, humble and down-to-earth boy. His attitude towards his teachers and parents, his respect for others, and the warmth with which he interacts with people are truly admirable.

Today, during the morning assembly, we celebrated and recognised the outstanding achievements of our young talents in the Science Fair (STEM) and Wall Magazine Competitions.
The winners and participants were applauded in the presence of the entire student body, making the moment even more special and memorable.

The occasion also provided an opportunity to recognise the Academic Position Holders from Sections III to V, appreciating their dedication, perseverance, and excellent performance.

Principal Sir congratulated all the winners of the STEM Fest and praised their remarkable effort, creativity, and dedication. He encouraged the students to keep exploring new ideas, nurturing their curiosity, and striving for even greater achievements.

A motherโ€™s role in a childโ€™s life is beyond measure. She is the first teacher, the constant source of encouragement, and the quiet strength behind every achievement. Behind every successful student stands a mother whose love, sacrifices, prayers, and unwavering support shape their journey.

With this belief, BISC, Mohakhali, proudly organises the Star Badge Award Ceremony every year to celebrate academic excellence and honour the mothers who stand behind our young achievers.

This year, the 1st to 6th position holders from Standard III to Standard IX of the 2025 - 2026 Session were awarded the prestigious Star Badge for their outstanding academic performance.

The presence of the mothers made the occasion especially meaningful. One of the most touching moments of the ceremony was when the students paid a heartfelt tribute to their mothers.
