The Ultimate 15-Days on a Bangladesh Expeditions
Phase 1: The Historic Core & Textile Heritage (Days 1–2)
•Day 1: Dhaka & The Jamdani Villages. Start in the bustling capital. Head to the Banti batik & traditional weaving villages to witness generations-old handloom craftsmanship.
• Day 2: Sonargaon. Explore the historic 15th-century capital, wander through the beautifully decaying mansions of Panam City, and visit the Folk Art and Crafts Museum. Take an overnight rocket steamer or luxury sleeper train/flight to your next hub.
Phase 2: Tea Valleys, Rainforests & Stone Mines (Days 3–5)

• Day 4: Sylhet & Jaflong Valley.

• Day 5: Transit via Dhaka to the Coast. Catch a quick domestic flight or train back through Dhaka and make your way down south to Chittagong.
Phase 3: Maritime Culture & Industrial Giants (Days 6–8)
•Day 6: Chittagong Port Culture & Shipbreaking Yards.
Witness the staggering, colossal scale of the Chittagong shipbreaking yards from a safe, guided boat vantage point. Immerse yourself in the distinct, bustling maritime culture of the port city.
• Day 7: Nazirartek & Marine Drive.
Head toward Cox’s Bazar. Visit Nazirartek, one of the largest dried fish (shutki) processing markets in South Asia—a dream for documentary photography.
• Day 8: Baharchora Fisherman Beach.
A trip down the stunning Marine Drive, flanked by green hills on one side and the roaring ocean on the other. Stop at Baharchora to watch fishermen launching their traditional moon-shaped sampan boats and explore the nearby salt cultivation fields.
Phase 4: Southern Backwaters & Islamic Heritage (Days 9–10)
• Day 9: Barisal Backwater Cruise.

•Day 10: Travel North. Cross the majestic Padma Bridge or take a domestic transit route up toward the historical northwest region of Rajshahi.

• Day 11: Rajshahi, Puthia & Bagha.
