On the occasion of the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum 2026, members of the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) actively participated in the nationwide postal ballot counting activities.
As part of this national assignment, BNCC members performed their duties at the Election Commission Secretariat, Divisional Commissioners’ Offices, Regional Election Officers’ Offices, and District Returning Officers’ Offices across the country.
To successfully execute this significant responsibility, five regiments under BNCC—Ramna Regiment, Dhaka; Moynamati Regiment, Cumilla; Karnaphuli Regiment, Chattogram; Sundarban Regiment, Khulna; and Mahasthan Regiment, Rajshahi—along with other officers and staff, took part in the deployment. A total of 1,408 cadets from the Army, Navy, and Air Wings, 30 Service Officers, 514 BNCC Officers/PUOs, military instructors, and civilian employees were engaged in the assigned duties.
Notably, Cadets from Mirpur Cantonment Public School and College participated in the operation under the Ramna Regiment.
With a firm commitment to ensuring the smooth, orderly, and peaceful completion of this important democratic process, the cadets carried out their assigned responsibilities with utmost sincerity, discipline, and professionalism. Their dedicated service contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the postal ballot counting activities.
