The Dhaka University Moot Court Society (DUMCS) is delighted to announce that a team comprising Jannatul Mawa Suchi, Nafisah Tabassum, and Zaid Ekram has emerged as the Champion of the 4th Professor Khabir Uddin Ahmed National Moot Court Competition 2026.
The competition was organized by the Society for Critical Legal Studies (SCLS) and was held in person at the Department of Law, University of Chittagong from 5 to 6 June 2026. More than 60 teams from over 40 universities across Bangladesh participated in this prestigious national moot court competition.
Representing the University of Dhaka, the team displayed outstanding advocacy, legal reasoning, dedication, and teamwork throughout the competition, ultimately securing the Championship and bringing pride to DUMCS and the University of Dhaka.
This achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable support and encouragement of Professor Dr. Md Mizanur Rahman, Research Professor of Migration and Gulf Studies, Gulf Studies Center, College of Arts and Sciences, Qatar University; and Dr. Muhammad Ekramul Haque, Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Dhaka; Dr. Mohammed Towhidul Islam, Chairman, Department of law, University of Dhaka and Dr. Farzana Akter, Coach and Chief Moderator, Associate Professor, University of Dhaka.
