আমাদের সহকর্মী শামসুর রহমান ভাই দীর্ঘ প্রায় ২০ বছর ডুয়েট কেন্দ্রীয় গ্রন্থাগারে সেবা দিয়ে সম্প্রতি অবসরে যান। যাওয়ার সময় উনি যে বইটির অনেক চাহিদা দেখেছেন ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের কাছে সে বইটির ১০ কপি ডুয়েট কেন্দ্রীয় গ্রন্থাগারে দান করে যান। কতটা মহৎ আর বড় হৃদয়ের অধিকারী হলে এমন চিন্তা ও কাজ করা যায় তা ভাবার মতন! শামসুর রহমান ভাই সুস্থ থাকুক ও উনার অবসর পরবর্তী জীবন সুন্দর কাটুক আমরা এই প্রার্থনা করি।
