হাই কমিশনার শ্রী দিনেশ ত্রিবেদী ৬ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৬-এ বাংলাদেশের সংস্কৃতি বিষয়ক মাননীয় মন্ত্রী জনাব নিতাই রায় চৌধুরীর সঙ্গে একটি বৈঠক করেন। সাংস্কৃতিক বিষয়ক মাননীয় প্রতিমন্ত্রী জনাব আলী নেওয়াজ মাহমুদ খৈয়মও উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

দুই দেশের জনগণের মধ্যে বিদ্যমান সুগভীর সাংস্কৃতিক বন্ধনের বিষয়টি এই আলোচনায় বিশেষভাবে উঠে আসে এবং সাংস্কৃতিক সম্পৃক্ততাকে আরও সুদৃঢ় করার গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরা হয়। নজরুল বর্ষ উদযাপনের বিশেষ প্রেক্ষাপটে জনগণের মধ্যে পারস্পরিক যোগাযোগ ও সম্পর্ক আরও সুদৃঢ় করার লক্ষ্যে শাস্ত্রীয় সংগীত, লোকশিল্প, ঐতিহ্য সংরক্ষণ, প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক সংযোগ স্থাপন এবং যৌথ সাংস্কৃতিক কর্মসূচি ও সম্মেলন আয়োজনের ক্ষেত্রে সম্ভাব্য সহযোগিতা ও সাংস্কৃতিক বিনিময়ের বিভিন্ন দিক নিয়ে তাঁরা আলোচনা করেন।

High Commissioner Shri Dinesh Trivedi held a meeting with the Minister of Cultural Affairs of Bangladesh Mr. Nitai Roy Chowdhury on 6 September 2026. Minister of State for Cultural Affairs Mr. Ali Nawaz Mahmud Khayyam was also present.

The discussion highlighted the deep-rooted cultural connection between the peoples of the two countries and the importance of strengthening cultural engagement. They discussed potential cooperation and exchanges in the fields of classical music, folk art, heritage conservation, institutional linkages and joint cultural programs and conferences, especially as part of Nazrul Borsho celebrations, which are all aimed at promoting people-to-people ties.

হাই কমিশনার শ্রী দিনেশ ত্রিবেদী ১ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৬-এ বাংলাদেশের স্থানীয় সরকার, পল্লী উন্নয়ন ও সমবায়মন্ত্রী ড. আবদুল মঈন খানের সঙ্গে একটি বৈঠক করেন। প্রতিমন্ত্রী জনাব মীর শাহে আলমও এই বৈঠকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

বিএনপির ৪৮তম প্রতিষ্ঠাবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষ্যে হাই কমিশনার শুভেচ্ছা জ্ঞাপন করেন।

আলোচনায় ভারত ও বাংলাদেশের জনগণের মধ্যে সম্পর্ককে আরও গভীর করার ওপর গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়। তাঁরা স্থানীয় সরকার কাঠামোকে আরও সুদৃঢ় করে তোলার বিভিন্ন উপায় নিয়েও আলোচনা করেন, যা এই দুই গণতন্ত্রেরই একটি অভিন্ন অগ্রাধিকার।

High Commissioner Shri Dinesh Trivedi held a meeting with the Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives of Bangladesh, Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan on 01 September 2026. Minister of State Mr. Mir Shahe Alam also attended the meeting.

High Commissioner conveyed his wishes on the occasion of the 48th Founding Day of BNP.

The discussions focussed on deepening the people-to-people ties between India and Bangladesh. They also discussed ways to strengthen the local government structures, which is a shared priority of the two democracies.
