We at Youth Climate Network (YCN) are grateful for a memorable and inspiring evening at the BRAC Learning Center in Khulna, where the YCN Khulna District Team members and volunteers had the opportunity to meet with our honorable Advisor, Dr. Dave Dowland, Registrar of BRAC University, along with Sakib Bin Quader, Assistant Manager at the Office of the Registrar, BRAC University.

With 20 dedicated members and volunteers participating, we discussed youth leadership, education, climate action, and our future initiatives for the community. We also explored ways to make our charitable initiative, the Humanity Public Library, more effective in supporting individuals facing difficult circumstances and having limited access to essential resources and opportunities.

The thoughtful conversation with Dr. Dave Dowland offered us fresh perspectives, valuable guidance, and renewed motivation to strengthen our work and create a meaningful impact. As the honorable Advisor to both YCN and the Humanity Public Library, Dr. Dave Dowland’s insights continue to inspire us as we work toward building a more inclusive, empowered, and sustainable future for our community.

We’re Hiring: Brand Designer

We’re looking for a talented Brand Designer to develop a thoughtful and distinctive brand identity for a nonprofit library organization.

This is a one-time freelance project for a designer who can translate our mission, values, and community focus into a strong and meaningful visual identity.

What we’re looking for:
• Strong experience in branding and visual identity design
• A solid understanding of logo design, typography, color systems, and brand guidelines
• Ability to create a brand that feels welcoming, credible, modern, and timeless
• Strong creative thinking and attention to detail
• Experience working with nonprofit, educational, cultural, or community-focused organizations is a plus

Project Type: One-Time / Freelance
Payment: Negotiable based on experience, portfolio, and project scope
Location: Remote

World Refugee Day 2026

Today, we stand together to honor the strength, resilience, and dignity of refugees around the world, especially the Rohingya community living in displacement.

Our online discussion, "Empowering Rohingya Youth for Rights, Climate Action, and a Sustainable Future," brought together community leaders, youth activists, and advocates to share perspectives on refugee rights, Rohingya identity, climate action, and youth engagement.
