Principal Md. Sadikuzzaman Khan, Dedicated to Education: A Familiar Face in Daulatpur’s Academic Arena

Principal Md. Sadikuzzaman Khan of Daulatpur College has long been making significant contributions to the educational, social, and institutional development of Daulatpur Upazila in Kushtia. He currently serves as the Principal of Daulatpur College and plays an active role in leading and managing various educational institutions.
His extensive experience in education administration includes serving as Principal of Daulatpur College and as Director of Shukrun Nesa Academy since 1996. He has also served as a Senate Member of the National University and as Chairman of several educational institutions. He has chaired the governing bodies of Daulatpur Pilot Model High School, Rifayetpur High School, Goalgram College, Pragpur College, Daulatpur Dakhil Madrasa, and Khalishakundi Degree College.
Md. Sadikuzzaman Khan, son of a freedom fighter, was born on 27 November 1977 in Kushtia. His father, Md. Mofikuzzaman Khan, was a valiant freedom fighter and retired Assistant Director of the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC).
In his academic career, he earned both Bachelor’s (Honours) and Master’s degrees in History from the University of Rajshahi. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Education at Genovasi University College in Malaysia.
His professional journey began in 2002 when he joined Daulatpur College as a Lecturer. After serving as Acting Principal, he was appointed Principal on 29 November 2017. He has around 23 years of experience in the education sector.
Beyond education and research, he has contributed to preserving the history of the Liberation War. He assisted in compiling information on the Liberation War of Daulatpur Upazila for the _Bangladesher Muktijuddho Bishwakosh_ published by the Asiatic Society in 2018.
Locally known as an educationist, organizer, and social worker, Md. Sadikuzzaman Khan continues to work tirelessly for the spread of education, human resource development, and building future generations. Alongside managing educational institutions, his active participation in social activities is playing a vital role in the educational and social development of Daulatpur.
