Too many nutrients in lakes can lead to poor water quality and harm local species. That’s why the & Waters project FERRO works on nutrient recovery and reuse. 💧

The project’s solutions focus on stopping excess nutrients from entering lakes and reusing them for agriculture. This benefits both our waters and our lands!

Helping the younger generation to understand water pollution can start with something as simple as a game. 🎮

1.8 million tonnes of plastic enter our ocean through rivers every year. That’s why it’s so important to stop the problem at its source.

The & Waters solutions CirCleaner and Bubble Barrier do just that by removing plastic litter from rivers and canals before it can reach our seas and ocean.

Already tested in real-world conditions, the solutions are getting ready for wider deployment.

Summer holidays can be more than sightseeing and beach days. ☀️

In Greece, & Waters Charter Action from LAMAR and Blutopia brings tourism and aquaculture together, offering visitors a chance to discover local aquaculture at a small-scale fish farm. 🐟

Through marine biology trips, tourists can learn about local aquaculture and its protection. The experience includes boat trips, swimming and snorkelling – all designed not to damage the marine species and their habitats.
