La SAU est un outil public majeur du développement territorial bruxellois. Elle est responsable de la mise en œuvre des grands projets d’aménagement urbain et de la réalisation d’équipements publics d’envergure régionale destinés à répondre aux besoins et aux aspirations de la population bruxelloise. La SAU pilote chacun de ses projets de manière spécifique, en fonction de leurs particularités, pour les concrétiser au profit des habitants, des entreprises et des visiteurs du territoire régional. Partenaire fiable et solide de tous les acteurs publics et/ou privés impliqués, la SAU les accompagne efficacement tout au long des processus jusqu’à leur aboutissement.
À la différence de chacun des partenaires sectoriels pris isolément, la SAU assume la responsabilité finale de la mise en œuvre d’une vision globale dans ces projets multi-acteurs. L’action de la SAU implique des quartiers, des sites, des bâtiments, des fonctions, des acteurs, des publics, des méthodes… extrêmement variés. Elle a par conséquent développé une dynamique partenariale multi-acteurs fondée sur des valeurs comme la connaissance, l’écoute, la compréhension, la flexibilité, la transparence, l’intégrité, la recherche de l’excellence…, afin d’atteindre au mieux des objectifs collectifs ambitieux.

De Maatschappij voor Stedelijke Inrichting van het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest is verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van grote stedenbouwkundige projecten in Brussel en de bouw van openbare voorzieningen van gewestelijke omvang. De MSI is een belangrijk publiek instrument voor de Brusselse territoriale ontwikkeling. Zij is verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van grote stedenbouwkundige projecten en de bouw van openbare voorzieningen van gewestelijke omvang die tegemoetkomen aan de behoeften en verwachtingen van de Brusselse bevolking. De MSI stuurt al haar projecten aan op een specifieke manier, die afhankelijk is van de kenmerken van die projecten, zodat ze ten goede komen aan de inwoners, de bedrijven en de bezoekers van het gewestelijk grondgebied. De MSI vervult haar taak als gebiedsontwikkelaar door de acties van diverse publieke of private partners te coördineren en door zelf complexe projecten uit te voeren. Als betrouwbare en solide partner van alle betrokken publieke en/of private actoren begeleidt de MSI deze tijdens de hele duur van de processen tot aan de voltooiing. In tegenstelling tot de afzonderlijke sectorale partners neemt de MSI eindverantwoordelijkheid voor de implementatie van een globale visie in deze multi-actoren projecten. De activiteiten van de MSI betreffen een zeer gevarieerde verzameling van wijken, locaties, gebouwen, functies, actoren, bewoners en methoden. Daardoor heeft de maatschappij een dynamisch multi-actoren partnerschap ontwikkeld op basis van waarden als kennis, dialoog, begrip, flexibiliteit, transparantie, integriteit en streven naar excellentie om de ambitieuze collectieve doelstellingen zo goed mogelijk te bereiken.

The Urban Development Corporation (sau-msi.brussels) of the Brussels-Capital Region is responsible for carrying out major urban development projects in Brussels and constructing public facilities of regional significance. The SAU is a key public tool for urban development in Brussels. It is responsible for carrying out major urban development projects and constructing public facilities of regional significance to meet the needs and aspirations of Brussels’ population. The SAU steers each project according to its specific characteristics, in order to bring it to completion for the benefit of the region’s inhabitants, businesses and visitors. Acting as a reliable and solid partner to all the public- and/or private-sector stakeholders involved, the SAU supports them effectively throughout the various processes until their completion. Unlike the individual sectoral partners, the SAU assumes ultimate responsibility for implementing an overall vision in these multi-stakeholder projects. Its work involves a huge array of districts, sites, buildings, functions, stakeholders, target groups and methods. In response, it has developed a multi-stakeholder partnership approach based on values such as expertise, listening, understanding, flexibility, transparency, integrity and the search for excellence for optimal achievement of ambitious collective goals.
