🌍✨ The 24th General Assembly of took place on 6 May 2025 in Istanbul, during the CITA International Conference hosted by TÜVTÜRK.

This important event marked a new chapter for our global community working to improve road safety and environmental protection.

🚗 We proudly welcomed several new members into the CITA family, expanding our reach and influence worldwide.

🔁 Leadership updates also took place:
New representatives joined the CITA Bureau Permanent; a heartfelt farewell to Mr. Lothar Geilen after years of dedicated service; Ms. Ferose Oaten was re-elected as Vice President Treasurer.

Together, with new energy and fresh perspectives, CITA continues to lead the way in vehicle compliance and sustainable mobility.

📸 What an incredible few days in Istanbul! From May 6–8, the CITA International Conference 2025 brought together delegates from around the world to discuss safer roads and a greener future. 🌱🚗

We kicked off with the 24th General Assembly, followed by inspiring plenaries, powerful keynotes, and interactive sessions on everything from electric powertrains to inspection in low- and middle-income countries.

💡 Special thanks to TÜV TÜRK for hosting, our sponsors (COSBER, MAHA, DEKRA, VTEQ, Midtronics), and every expert who shared their knowledge.

CITA President Gerhard Müller closed the event by reminding us: “We are not only a fraction of the solution—but a precondition.”
