We work to bring back common sense to the EU. The ECR has 61 members from 14 EU countries in 17 different political parties.

The European Conservatives and Reformists are a centre-right political group in the European Parliament, established in 2009 under its founding principles of the Prague Declaration. These principles brought together MEPs from across the European Union who supported a vision of common sense for a reform for the whole EU. Today is a HISTORIC DAY, as your government becomes the longest-serving government in the history of the Italian Republic.

As Italy’s first woman Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni has brought stability and security not only to Italy, but also a new direction for Europe: an EU that listens to its Member States and respects its citizens.

The Meloni government is at the forefront of EU-wide reforms, from ensuring fast and efficient returns of illegal migrants, to protecting our borders, investing in rural development and defending the right of citizens to stay in the communities they call home.

The ECR Group is honoured to fight alongside our Italian friends from Fratelli d’Italia in the European Parliament to bring COMMON SENSE back to Europe.

In September 1939, N**i Germany invaded Poland. Polish lives were taken, Poland was plundered and countless works of art, artefacts, books and treasures of Polish heritage were stolen, never to be returned.

Today, we turn to ART to bring people together and heal the divisions of the past.

Because what was once divided by war can be reunited through culture, remembrance and truth.
