The Belgian Air Force Association wants to highlight the values of the Belgian Air Force to her members and the public in general.

The association wants to maintain close contact with and grant support to the Belgian Air Component in organising various activities. The Belgian Air Force Association preserves and highlights the history and traditions of the Belgian Air Force. We also want to maintain close ties to similar associations in Belgium and abroad.

- Why a new association? -

* Due to the reorganization of the armed f

orces and new structures there is need of an association which will help preserve the traditions and spirit of the Air Force.
* There are a lot of associations , with their own specific goals. Some of them have problems due to the decreasing number of members and the higher age.
* There are often situations in which backing of the Belgian Air Component representatives is welcome.
* To form a front, carrying weight requires a strong association.
* We don't act independently, but 100% in accordance with the BAC representatives.
* To inform former airmen and sympathizers in order to create an ambience of Goodwill.

De Pilatus PC‑7 MkX zal binnenkort toetreden tot onze Luchtmacht om de toekomstige militaire piloten op te leiden. Deze ultramoderne “Smart Trainer” is veel meer dan een eenvoudig trainingsvliegtuig: hij combineert geavanceerde vliegprestaties met een cockpit van de nieuwste generatie.

De opleiding zal zich niet beperken tot het vliegen alleen. Ze zal ook gebruikmaken van moderne digitale hulpmiddelen, zoals virtual reality en zeer realistische simulatoren, waarmee leerlingen al op de grond kunnen oefenen in omstandigheden die sterk aan de realiteit doen denken. Deze geleidelijke aanpak vergemakkelijkt het leerproces en bereidt de leerling‑piloten doeltreffend voor op de technologische en operationele vereisten.

👉 De PC‑7 MkX speelt dus een sleutelrol: het leggen van de essentiële basis waarop de militaire piloten van morgen zullen worden gevormd. ✈️🇧🇪

Le Pilatus PC‑7 MkX rejoindra bientôt notre Force aérienne pour former nos futurs pilotes militaires. Bien plus qu’un simple trainer, ce « Smart Trainer » ultra‑moderne combine des performances de vol avancées avec un cockpit de dernière génération.

La formation ne se limitera pas au vol. Elle intégrera également des outils numériques modernes, comme la réalité virtuelle et des simulateurs très réalistes, permettant aux élèves de s’entraîner au sol dans des conditions proches du réel. Cette approche progressive facilitera l’apprentissage et préparera efficacement les élèves‑pilotes aux exigences technologiques et opérationnelles.

👉 Le PC‑7 MkX joue donc un rôle clé : poser les bases essentielles sur lesquelles se formeront les pilotes militaires de demain. ✈️🇧🇪
