Sarajevo Canton Representation Brussels The representation of the region of Sarajevo Canton is the interface between the regional and the European level.

The Office is the representation of the region of Sarajevo Canton to the EU institutions and the first contact point for EU bodies and other countries and regions interested in Sarajevo Canton. The Representation Office in the capital city of EU was founded in 2007 after Sarajevo Canton became a full member of Assembly of European Regions in 2005 and was awarded the European Region of the Year in

2006. It has been “under the same roof” with the representation offices of Friuli Venezia Giulia (ITA), Carinthia (AUT) and Istria (CRO) since its opening. The office in Brussels has been serving as the front office of Sarajevo Canton government and cantonal institutions within the regional institutions of the European Union. The main task of Sarajevo Canton in Brussels aims to promote and represent Sarajevo Canton within regional European institutions and organizations based in Brussels, through promotion of economic, touristic and cultural potentials of Sarajevo Canton. The office of Sarajevo Canton in Brussels is completely available to provide information to all individuals and legal entities about Sarajevo Canton region and B&H.
