The Office is the representation of the region of Sarajevo Canton to the EU institutions and the first contact point for EU bodies and other countries and regions interested in Sarajevo Canton. It is the interface between the regional and the European level. The Representation Office in the capital city of EU was founded in 2007 after Sarajevo Canton became a full member of Assembly of European Regions in 2005 and was awarded the European Region of the Year in 2006.
