From 8 to 10 September 2026, Their Majesties King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark will pay a state visit to Belgium at the invitation of Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde.

🇩🇰 Grundlovsdag i Luxembourg 🇱🇺

I fredags den 5. juni havde vi fornøjelsen af at fejre Grundlovsdag sammen med det danske fællesskab i Luxembourg i Den Danske Kirke.

Ambassadør Susanne Shine holdt årets grundlovstale og satte fokus på de værdier, der fortsat binder os sammen som danskere: demokrati, frihed, tillid og fællesskab. Talen markerede også de 120 år med diplomatiske relationer mellem Danmark og Luxembourg.

Efter talen var der mulighed for at mødes over en ægte dansk klassiker fra pølsevognen, som bidrog til den hyggelige og festlige stemning.

Tak til den Danske Forening og den Danskere i Luxembourg og alle de fremmødte for en dejlig fejring af Grundlovsdag og det danske fællesskab i Luxembourg.

120 Years of Diplomatic Relations between Luxembourg and Denmark 🇱🇺 🇩🇰

Today, 4 June 2026, marks the 120th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Luxembourg and Denmark.

On 4 June 1906, Luxembourg and Denmark formally established diplomatic relations, marking the beginning of a trusted partnership built on shared values and mutual respect.

Over the years, Luxembourg and Denmark have continued to strengthen their ties through political dialogue, trade cooperation, cultural exchange and multilateral engagement.

As close European partners, we look forward to continuing our cooperation in addressing common challenges and advancing shared priorities, both in Europe and globally.

Here's to 120 years of cooperation and to many more to come.

We were delighted to participate in the opening of the Rasmus Klump exhibition at the Comics Art Museum in Brussels 🐻⚓

From 1 April to 6 September, visitors can step into the enchanting world of Denmark’s beloved bear and explore original illustrations, stories behind his creation by Carla and Vilhelm Hansen, and modern interpretations that keep his joyful spirit alive.

A wonderful experience for everyone – not to be missed!

A consular visit to Luxembourg! 🇱🇺

The consular team was in Luxembourg to take passport applications for Danes at the consulate. The visit was a great way to connect with the Danes living in Luxembourg. It also allowed for the consular team to spend time with dear colleagues at our consulate, who play a vital role in supporting Danes in Luxembourg.

Thank you to the consulate and to the Danes in Luxembourg for a very warm welcome!

Congratulations to Scandinavian Airline and Lux-Airport for this new SAS-route between Copenhagen and Luxembourg 🇩🇰 🇱🇺, which from 9 March 2026, will operate twice daily flights ✈️

Ambassador Susanne Shine was happy to attend the celebration of the inaugural SAS flight in Lux-Airport. More direct flights between our countries will improve accessibility for business, diplomacy, and tourism, and we look forward to welcoming even stronger links between our countries.
