On 4 September, Giorgia Meloni 's government becomes the longest-serving government in the history of the Italian Republic, breaking a record that stood for more than two decades. At a time when many European countries face political uncertainty, Italy proves that voters reward clarity, stability and the courage to deliver on promises. Guided by conservative values and a reformist vision, this government has shown that political continuity can be a force for responsible change, strengthening institutions while keeping citizens' concerns at the heart of decision-making.
This historic milestone is not only a testament to stable leadership, but also to the growing confidence of Italians in a centre-right agenda based on accountability, sovereignty, economic responsibility and common sense reforms. Congratulations to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on this remarkable achievement!

Sport should never be a battleground for political discrimination. This is how discrimination and racism begin.

“Local and regional authorities across Europe should promote the fight against prejudice and antisemitism. We should all commit to creating a more inclusive and safer future for Jewish communities in the European Union.” - Ádám Karácsony, Rapporteur on “Combating Antisemitism and Fostering Jewish Life”.

We will not accept the politicisation of sport, the exclusion of Israel, or the normalisation of discrimination. Europe must have the courage to stand firm.
