🎓 International Youth Day | Wist je dat de FOD Buitenlandse Zaken meerdere keren per jaar zijn deuren opent voor studenten?
- Saviez-vous que le SPF Affaires étrangères ouvre ses portes aux étudiants plusieurs fois par an ? (NL/FR)

Bij Buitenlandse Zaken nemen we hen mee achter de schermen van de diplomatie en de internationale betrekkingen.

Buitenlandse Zaken verwelkomt regelmatig studentenorganisaties en onderwijsinstellingen. Onlangs kregen we bezoek uit de Verenigde Staten van studenten van de universiteiten van Missouri en Georgia. Eerder dit jaar ontmoetten we gemotiveerde jongeren van Jeugd Parlement Jeunesse, ELSA Brussel (VUB), Thomas More-hogeschool, HELMO - Haute Ecole Libre Mosane, UNYA Gent.

Onze collega's hebben hun expertise gedeeld over mensenrechten, onze steun aan Oekraïne, EU-douanerechten, (cyber)veiligheid, internationaal recht, humanitaire hulp, en zoveel meer.

Er wordt veel belang gehecht aan dit soort initiatieven en het is altijd een plezier om enthousiaste jongeren te ontmoeten die meebouwen aan een wereld waarin samenwerking centraal staat.

Aux Affaires étrangères, nous les invitons dans les coulisses de la diplomatie et des relations internationales.

Les Affaires étrangères accueillent régulièrement des associations étudiantes et des établissements d’enseignement. Récemment, nous avons reçu la visite d’étudiants américains des universités du Missouri et de Géorgie. Plus tôt cette année, nous avons rencontré des jeunes motivés de JPJ, ELSA (VUB), Thomas More, Helmo et UNYA Ghent.

Nos collègues ont partagé leur expertise sur les droits humains, notre soutien à l’Ukraine, les droits de douane de l’UE, la (cyber)sécurité, le droit international, l’aide humanitaire, et bien d’autres sujets encore.

Une grande importance est accordée à ce type d’initiatives et c'est toujours un plaisir de rencontrer des jeunes enthousiastes qui contribuent à bâtir un monde où la coopération occupe une place centrale.
