🌈 Les Affaires étrangères réaffirment leur engagement pour l’égalité et les droits humains pour toutes et tous. - Buitenlandse Zaken bevestigt opnieuw zijn inzet voor gelijkheid en mensenrechten voor iedereen. (FR/NL ⬇️)

À l’occasion de la Journée internationale contre l’homophobie, la transphobie et la biphobie, nous défendons plus que jamais l’égalité, la dignité et les droits fondamentaux des personnes LGBTQI+, dans le monde entier, mais aussi au sein de notre organisation.

Cette année encore, les Affaires étrangères étaient présentes à la Brussels Pride pour affirmer son soutien et ses valeurs en matière d’inclusion, de respect et de droits humains pour toutes et tous.

Ter gelegenheid van de Internationale Dag tegen homofobie, transfobie en bifobie komen we meer dan ooit op voor de gelijkheid, waardigheid en grondrechten van LGBTQI+-personen, overal ter wereld, maar ook binnen onze organisatie.

Ook dit jaar was Buitenlandse Zaken aanwezig op Brussels Pride om zijn steun en waarden op het gebied van inclusie, respect en mensenrechten voor iedereen te bevestigen.

🇧🇪🇹🇷 | End of the Belgian Economic Mission to Türkiye

The Belgian economic mission to Türkiye has come to an end. Over the past days, Belgium and Türkiye have further strengthened their economic ties across key sectors, including energy transition, aerospace and defense, ports and logistics, life sciences and pharmaceuticals, and digital transformation.

Bringing together more than 400 participants, the mission created a dynamic platform for exchange and cooperation. Through high-level meetings, site visits and business interactions, Belgian and Turkish stakeholders explored concrete opportunities and reinforced existing partnerships.

With the signing of 33 economic agreements, this mission marks an important step in deepening economic relations and creating new opportunities for companies on both sides.

Beyond the figures, this mission highlights the added value of Belgian economic diplomacy. Thanks to the active support of the Embassy of Belgium in Ankara and the Consulate General in Istanbul, connections were made, dialogue was facilitated and cooperation was turned into concrete outcomes.

A sincere thank you to our colleagues in Ankara and Istanbul for their outstanding work in making this mission a success!

🇧🇪🇹🇷 | End of the first stage of the Belgian economic mission

The first stage of the Belgian economic mission to Türkiye has come to an end and with 27 agreements signed, it already marks a meaningful step forward in strengthening our bilateral collaboration.

From industrial innovation and digitalisation to ports and logistics, women’s entrepreneurship, and life sciences, the first days in Istanbul brought Belgian and Turkish partners together around shared priorities: innovation, sustainable growth and economic operation.

These exchanges and meetings highlight the added value of bringing together companies, institutions and experts, supported by Belgian diplomacy.
