🌍 Day three of the International Youth Camp🤝💚
🇵🇱 Poland, 🇨🇾 Cyprus, 🇬🇷 Greece, 🇵🇹 Portugal, 🇮🇹 Italy, and 🇷🇸 Serbia are the countries represented at this camp 🏕️
On the third day, participants visited the Pomeranian Voivodeship Office, where everyone was warmly welcomed by the Second Vice‑Governor of Pomerania, Anna Olkowska‑Jacyno 😍.
The day also included workshops and activities at PM Grid Art Hub as well as Brzostek Top Team in Brzostek, where participants took part in boxing training 🥊, while artistic workshops 🖼️ were held at the Grid Art Hub.
🌇 The evening ended in a truly special way — on the rooftop of the European Solidarity Centre 😍
The event is co-financed by the budget of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Local Government as part of the project “Volunteering in Prevention – Choose Life”.

During their stay in Gdańsk, the participants visited one of the most important places on the city’s map — Westerplatte 🇵🇱, a symbol of history and remembrance. Afterwards, they walked along the shore of the Gdańsk Bay, enjoying the open space, nature, and time spent together.
🐦 They also visited Mewia Łacha, exploring it in the spirit of the theme “Nature as a Safe Space” — a place offering rest, reflection, and a sense of community.
📜 During the day, manifesto workshops were held, focusing on discussions about values, needs, and what truly matters to the participants.
🔥 In the evening, everyone gathered around a campfire, singing songs, laughing, talking, and genuinely spending time together. It was simply a very good day that will stay in our memories for a long time.
The event is co-financed by the budget of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Local Government as part of the project “Volunteering in Prevention – Choose Life”.

Let’s be honest.

Most people don’t start using substances because they’re reckless.
They start because they’re human.
Curious.
Stressed.
Overwhelmed.
Trying to belong.
And no one really talks about that part.

So instead of judging, let’s talk facts:
• Early habits can quietly turn into long-term patterns
• Mental health and substance use are often connected
• You don’t need to hit rock bottom to question your choices

If any of this feels familiar — you’re not the only one.
This isn’t about shame.
It’s about understanding what’s really going on.

There is another way to deal with everything you’re carrying. 💜

We’ll talk about that next. Follow us!

Why does art work in drug prevention? 🎨

Because it speaks the language young people actually feel.

Art creates a safe space to express emotions, process stress, and turn real-life struggles into something powerful instead of destructive. It builds confidence, strengthens identity, and helps people feel seen and understood.
When those needs are met, the need to escape becomes smaller.

Prevention isn’t just about saying “no.”
It’s about creating something worth saying “yes” to. 💜

🎨 What shapes our mission and vision?

Street smART empowers young people, youth workers, and artists to tackle social challenges like drug abuse through creative and participatory approaches 💬✨. We create safe spaces for self-expression, skill-building, and meaningful community engagement 🤝.

We believe in a Europe where art inspires positive change, strengthens mental wellbeing 💚, and builds inclusive, resilient communities 🌍. Through co-created artistic projects and advocacy initiatives, young people become changemakers shaping healthier and more connected societies💡.

Through workshops, international trainings, and youth-led initiatives, we combine creativity with empowerment to promote healthy lifestyles, social inclusion, and active civic engagement across Europe 🚀.
