Aujourd'hui, une part croissante des fonds publics est consacrée à l'armement et à la militarisation, tandis que les besoins sociaux, la solidarité internationale et la lutte contre le changement climatique sont de plus en plus négligés.
Nous nous opposons à ce gaspillage de nos ressources publiques. Nous choisissons d'investir dans les citoyens, le bien-être social, la solidarité et la paix, et non dans une société qui se militarise toujours plus.
C'est pourquoi la plateforme Stop Militarisation et la plateforme internationale Stop ReArm Europe appellent toutes les personnes qui défendent la paix et la justice sociale à participer à la manifestation européenne à Bruxelles le dimanche 14 juin.
Sous le slogan « Le bien-être social, pas la guerre », descendons ensemble dans la rue !

Steeds meer publieke middelen gaan vandaag naar bewapening en militarisering, terwijl sociale noden, internationale solidariteit en klimaatactie steeds verder onder druk komen te staan.
Wij verzetten ons tegen deze kaalslag van onze publieke middelen. Wij kiezen voor investeringen in mensen, welzijn, solidariteit en vrede. Niet voor een samenleving die steeds verder militariseert.
Daarom roepen het platform Stop Militarisering en het internationale platform Stop ReArm Europe iedereen die kiest voor vrede en sociale rechtvaardigheid op om zondag 14 juni deel te nemen aan de Europese betoging in Brussel.
Onder de slogan ‘Voor welzijn, Tegen oorlog’ trekken we samen de straat op!

Today, an increasing share of public funds is being devoted to armament and militarisation, while social needs, international solidarity, and the fight against climate change are being increasingly undermined.
We oppose this drain on our public resources. We choose to invest in people, welfare, solidarity and peace. Not in a society that is becoming increasingly militarised.
That is why the Stop Militarisation platform and the international Stop ReArm Europe platform are calling on everyone who stands for peace and social justice to take part in the European demonstration in Brussels on Sunday 14 June.
Under the slogan ‘Welfare, not warfare’, let’s take to the streets together!
