The State Institution "National Agency for Tourism of the Republic of Belarus", in cooperation with interested republican government authorities and other organizations, is conducting the National Contest "Vobraz Belarusi. Pozirk i Adkrytstso" (Image of Belarus. Glance and Discovery) in 2026 to create a concept for the tourism image of the Republic of Belarus.

The contest aims to develop a visual symbol (logo) and a slogan (textual association) for the Republic of Belarus, based on the country's territorial, historical, and cultural identity, as well as its distinctive characteristics and unique features.

This image is intended to increase the capitalization of the national tourism product in the long term.The total prize fund for the winner and the runners-up (second and third place finishes) is 22,000 Belarusian rubles.

Информационное сообщение о возможности обучения по государственным грантам в Республике Беларусь.

Министерство образования Республики Беларусь информирует о приеме заявок от иностранных граждан на обучение в высших учебных заведениях страны в рамках правительственной грантовой программы.

Предоставляемые гранты полностью покрывают стоимость обучения по программам бакалавриата, магистратуры и аспирантуры, предусматривают выплату ежемесячной стипендии, а также обеспечение местом в студенческом общежитии на весь период учебы.

Обучение доступно по более чем 50 направлениям, включая информационные технологии, медицину, инженерно-технические и гуманитарные специальности. Учебный процесс может осуществляться как на русском, так и на английском языках. Для абитуриентов, не владеющих языком обучения, предусмотрены специализированные подготовительные курсы.

К участию в конкурсе допускаются иностранные граждане и лица без гражданства, имеющие необходимый уровень образования и подтвержденную высокую академическую успеваемость.

Information Notice on Government Scholarship Opportunities for Studying in the Republic of Belarus.

The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus announces the commencement of the application process for international citizens to study at national higher education institutions under the Government Scholarship Program.

The allocated grants fully cover tuition fees for Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD programs, provide a monthly stipend, and guarantee student dormitory accommodation for the entire duration of the studies.

Academic programs are available in over 50 fields, including information technology, medicine, engineering, and the humanities. Instruction is conducted in either Russian or English. Specialized preparatory courses are available for applicants who require language adaptation.

The selection process is open to foreign citizens and stateless persons who meet the educational requirements and demonstrate strong academic performance.

FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) has lifted the requirement of neutral status for athletes from Belarus and Russia: they are allowed to compete under their national flags and anthems, but holding international competitions is still prohibited.

The illegal migration channel has been blocked in Minsk, four people have been detained.

Employees of the 5th directorate (in Minsk) of the ГУБОПиК МВД (Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs), with the forceful support of OMON fighters, stopped the activities of a group that organized a channel for the illegal entry, stay and transit of foreigners through the territory of Belarus.

Four Middle Easterners (aged 19-29) participated in the criminal scheme. They were not registered in our country and did not work. For two years, the defendants ensured the illegal movement of people from South Asian countries from the territory of the Russian Federation to Belarus. Using personal cars, they were transported to Minsk, and if necessary, they organized the crossing of the state border outside the established checkpoints - through forests and a river.

In May - June 2026, the attackers organized the illegal entry and stay in the capital of at least 19 Afghan citizens. They estimated their services at $150-400 per flight.

Investigators have opened a criminal case, and a preventive measure has been chosen in the form of detention.

Сотрудники 5-го управления (по г.Минску) ГУБОПиК МВД при силовой поддержке бойцов ОМОНа пресекли деятельность группы, организовавшей канал незаконного въезда, пребывания и транзита иностранцев через территорию Беларуси. Об этом сообщили БЕЛТА в МВД.

В преступной схеме участвовали четверо выходцев с Ближнего Востока (19-29 лет). Они не имели регистрации в нашей стране и не работали. На протяжении двух лет фигуранты обеспечивали незаконное перемещение людей из стран Южной Азии с территории Российской Федерации в Беларусь. Используя личные автомобили, доставляли их в Минск, а при необходимости организовывали переход государственной границы вне установленных пунктов пропуска - через лесные массивы и реку.

В мае - июне этого года злоумышленники организовали незаконный въезд и пребывание в столице не менее 19 граждан Афганистана. Свои услуги они оценивали в $150-400 за рейс.

Следователями возбуждено уголовное дело, избрана мера пресечения в виде заключения под стражу.

"We can all see how much the residents of the European Union themselves suffer from the fact that they are far from the markets, from the absence of our tourists in these countries, from cheap and reliable resources that were previously supplied."

"The EU remains self-limited in some very small territory in which it is located today. It is obvious to everyone who suffers more in this situation because of these sanctions".

At the same time, Belarus continues to cooperate with Russia, the vast Eurasia, and Africa.
"Together we are shaping the Eurasian space as a space of stability, security, and cooperation, removing obstacles to trade, the movement of goods, services, and people, and lifting visa restrictions," - said Minister.
