🇯🇵🎭 Le rakugo mis à l’honneur à Bruxelles ! 🎭🇯🇵
Le 3 septembre, nous avons eu le plaisir d’accueillir deux grands maîtres du rakugo, Yanagiya Sanza et Ryūtei Komichi, dans notre Japan Information and Cultural Centre ! ✨
Notre public a pu profiter d’une soirée riche en récits traditionnels japonais, en humour et en rebondissements inattendus ! 🎭

On September 3, we had the pleasure of welcoming two renowned Rakugo masters, Yanagiya Sanza and Ryūtei Komichi, to our Japan Information and Cultural Centre!✨
Our audience enjoyed an evening filled with traditional Japanese storytelling, humour and unexpected twists! 🎭

🎭 Discover the fascinating world of Noh!
To celebrate 160 years of friendship between Japan and Belgium, the Kanze Noh Theater from Tokyo will present a special Noh performance at BOZAR on 26 September.
Ahead of this special performance, Prof. Bugne (ULB), a specialist in Japanese language, culture and Noh, will introduce this remarkable art form at the JICC.
One of the world’s oldest performing arts, Noh is a Japanese musical dance-drama with a 700-year history and is recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.

🎭 Découvrez l’univers fascinant du Nô !
Pour célébrer les 160 ans d’amitié entre le Japon et la Belgique, le Théâtre Kanze Nô de Tokyo présentera un spectacle spécial de Nô au BOZAR le 26 septembre.
En amont de ce spectacle exceptionnel, le professeur Bugne (ULB), spécialiste de la langue et de la culture japonaises ainsi que du Nô, présentera cette forme d’art remarquable au JICC.
Comptant parmi les arts du spectacle les plus anciens au monde, le Nô est un drame musical et dansé japonais riche de 700 ans d’histoire, reconnu par l’UNESCO comme patrimoine culturel immatériel.

Fondation Folon x Japon 2026 !

Le 27 août, l’Ambassadeur Osuga a visité la Fondation Folon à La Hulpe et a admiré les œuvres de Jean-Michel Folon. Il a également apprécié l’exposition spéciale de Kengo Kuma, architecte de renommée mondiale pour ses créations inspirées du style japonais, qui se tient jusqu'au 13 septembre. On y découvre une parfaite résonance entre les œuvres des deux artistes autour de réflexions et de thèmes tels que la condition humaine, les défis de la vie moderne et l’espoir d’un avenir plus harmonieux.

Op 27 augustus bracht ambassadeur Osuga een bezoek aan de Fondation Folon in La Hulpe, waar hij de werken van Jean-Michel Folon bewonderde. Hij genoot ook van de speciale tentoonstelling van Kengo Kuma, een architect die wereldwijd bekendstaat om zijn op de Japanse stijl geïnspireerde ontwerpen, die nog tot 13 september te zien is. Daarin ontdekt men een perfecte weerklank tussen de werken van beide kunstenaars rond overwegingen en thema’s zoals de menselijke conditie, de uitdagingen van het moderne leven en de hoop op een meer harmonieuze toekomst.
