Heritage faces risks from conflict, climate change, environmental degradation, and natural disasters across Europe. We must strengthen heritage’s resilience through crisis preparedness and digital transformation.

Here’s how the Culture Compass for Europe guides the way forward:
✔️ Developing the Common European Data Space for Cultural Heritage, in the context of the forthcoming deployment strategy 2025-2030 for the data space

We stand with Ukraine and its culture. 🇺🇦🇪🇺

As of 1 July 2026, 545 cultural sites have been verified as damaged, from museums and libraries to historic and religious sites.

Since the start of the war, the EU has provided almost €55 million to Ukraine’s cultural and creative sectors, including €23 million through Creative Europe.

On Ukraine’s Independence Day and every day we keep working to help protect, document and preserve Ukraine’s cultural heritage and strengthen its resilience for the future.

Ukrainian culture is part of European culture. 💙💛

Culture gives young people the tools to imagine, question, and shape the world around them. 🌟

On International Youth Day, we highlight a selection of Creative Europe–supported projects delivering concrete results for and with young people.

🧚Tech(ing) Tales with a Twist – Led by .tv, turns classic fairy tales together with children into digital experiences. The award-winning animation "Cinda Real" is an example of it.

♻️ NEXT GEN DESIGN – Led by five European design platforms, supports young designers building sustainable, circular design practices. Don't miss the exhibitions around Europe!

🦋 .eu - Led by , brings together students from three secondary schools to co-write the story for an opera on the climate crisis

🎻 European Creative Orchestral Program for Skilled Youth (EUCOPSY) - ** Led by , trains young talented musicians. The 2025 edition counted with 145 young musicians from 20 European countries, you could be the next!
