On Saturday, May 10th, LET’S DO IT ! BELGIUM will organise a cleanup action along the banks of the Albert Channel in Antwerp region. Bicycle Union ‘VOORKEMPEN’ will join us
This Cleanup action will take place within the framework of the “LET’S CLEAN UP EUROPE 2014 CAMPAIGN”, organised by the European Commission, marking the start of the European CLEAN WEEK.
This campaign focuses on waste prevention and invites citizens and civic organisations to organise cleanup-actions themselves.

( In less favourable weather conditions at tavern ‘DE ROEISPAAN ‘, located 100 metres further).
We start the action by bike and follow the towing-path in the direction of VIERSEL municipality, cleaning up the rubbish along the road.
There we cross the channel and head back in the direction of Wijnegem.
Logistical material ( gloves/ plastic bags ) will be provided, and the INLAND NAVIGATION ADMINISTRATION will pick up the bags on the following Monday.
