Kia ora whānau,

We know our page has been a little quiet lately, but behind the scenes Tūranga Whānau has still been working, growing, and supporting whānau as they navigate some really challenging spaces.

Our kaupapa is simple walking alongside whānau with practical support, advocacy, guidance, and connection when life feels overwhelming.

We help with

🌿 Whānau support
🌿 Family Court assistance
🌿 Advocacy and navigation
🌿 Parenting and wellbeing
🌿 Community resources
🌿 Real-life tools to help whānau feel less alone

We’re here to support, encourage, and help whānau move forward with mana.

If you or someone you know needs support, please feel free to request support from our website and we will be in touch

Ngā mihi,
Tūranga Whānau Charitable Trust

Chapter One of My Life.
I walk down the street. There's a deep hole in the footpath. I fall in.
I am lost. I am helpless. It isn't my fault. It still takes forever to find a way out.

Chapter Two.
I walk down the same street. There's a deep hole in the footpath. I pretend I don't see it. I fall in again. I can't believe I'm in the same place! But it isn't my fault. And it still takes a long time to get out.

Chapter Three.
I walk down the same street. There's a deep hole in the footpath. I see it there. I still fall in. It's a habit! My eyes are open. I know where I am. It is my fault. I get out immediately.

Chapter Four.
I walk down the same street. There's a deep hole in the footpath. I walk around it.

Chapter Five. I walk down a different street.

Every whānau's quirks are different so ensure the must-haves to protect your tribe's safety and your sanity.

Tie down outdoor gear like trampolines and play structures tightly to prevent them becoming flying projectiles from your property and having to find them later.
