Hello, September! 🍂📚 The return of student life and a calendar full of city-wide events give the city a burst of energy. Three tips to make the most of your stay this month:

1️⃣ Annual Fair (Monday 7 September
Leuven’s biggest tradition is back! Join the Annual Fair in the city centre and enjoy market stalls, live performances and livestock shows (Sint-Jacobsplein).
📍The entire city centre, 8:00-18:00

2️⃣ Buskers Boulevard and Sunday shopping (5-6 September)
The annual fair festivities kick off with a big shopping weekend. 🛍️ Enjoy live performances during Buskers Boulevard and shop exceptionally on Sunday.

3️⃣ Car-free Sunday (20 September)
Leuven goes car-free for one day. 🚗 Expect live music, free activities, tasty treats and plenty of atmosphere throughout the city.

🚴‍♂️ Expect plenty of cycling action, enthusiastic crowds and a fantastic atmosphere throughout Leuven on Sunday, 23 August!

Leuven will host the final stage of the Renewi Tour, with both the start and finish taking place on Bondgenotenlaan. Before the professional riders take on the course, cycling enthusiasts can hit the road themselves during Ride Leuven in the morning.

What a summer it's been in Leuven! ☀️🎶 Over the past five weeks, the summer festival Het Groot Verlof has brought the city to life.

2️⃣ Summer of Radio W***y at M Leuven (until 23 August)
Belgian radio station W***y hosts live performances by top Belgian bands at the museum's pop-up summer bar.

3️⃣ Leuven Bells (until 27 August)
Enjoy open-air carillon concerts in some of Leuven's most beautiful historic settings. 🔔
