Congratulations to Lucas SANCHEZ-BARRIGA RODRIGUEZ; the winner of the Member of the Month Award (MOTM) August 2026!
Lucas SANCHEZ-BARRIGA RODRIGUEZ is employed as a Graphic Designer within the Office of Communication and Community Affairs (OCCA). Throughout August 2026, Lucas has deputized for the Section Head and has been instrumental in the delivery of professional, innovative and timely communication products. Through his leadership and subject matter expertise, the OCCA team has redesigned and developed existing communications products, improving visibility and community engagement through effective communication. Lucas’ creativity and innovative mindset has directly resulted in operational success for OCCA and the wider BSG which is reflected by the amount of positive feedback received directly into the HQ.
During this period, Lucas played a key role in further developing OCCA’s communication products, notably by bringing a fresh and innovative visual approach to the SHAPE Newsletter, while supporting the wider OCCA team in delivering high-quality communication products. In order to achieve success, he has dedicated a significant amount of additional time and energy supporting the OCCA team and driving success. Passionate about communication, in particular design and the reader’s experience Lucas continues to display the highest qualities of leadership, creativity and innovation which are above and beyond that expected of his role. For this, Lucas is worthy of formal recognition.
