Last week we welcomed our largest group of the year so far, and organised a jam-packed week of meetings for them in Brussels and at the European Parliament Plenary in Strasbourg.

As well as visitors from 🇰🇪🇺🇸 we also welcomed MPs from 🇦🇱🇧🇦🇽🇰🇲🇪🇲🇰🇷🇸 for a thematic study visit on Enlargement and the Western Balkans.

Here’s a recap of their meetings with MEPs and 🇪🇺 Officials.

We are proud to now call them all and know we can count on them to promote the values we hold in common.

137 years ago, the Inter-Parliamentary Union was founded to strengthen democracy worldwide. Today, parliamentarians like Ilhan Omar, Laura McClure MP and José Antonio Pérez Barboni work tirelessly to continue the legacy of defending democracy through collaboration and accountability. But democracy doesn’t exist for parliaments, and parliaments aren’t for their members. They need you – to make your voice heard, to hold leaders accountable, and to make a change for the better.
