With a GDP of €922.9 billion in 2025, there are only five economies in the EU that are larger than Poland🇵🇱: Germany 🇩🇪, France 🇫🇷, Italy 🇮🇹, Spain 🇪🇸and the Netherlands 🇳🇱.

In 1991, Poland, Germany and France met in Weimar and opened a new chapter in European cooperation.

Built on dialogue, reconciliation and a shared vision of a peaceful and united Europe, the Weimar Triangle has stood the test of time.

35 years on, Poland, Germany and France continue to work together for a stronger, more secure and resilient Europe — supporting Ukraine, strengthening European defence and shaping the future of the EU.🤝🏻

On 1 August 1944 at 5:00 p.m. (W-Hour), one of the largest underground military operations in occupied Europe began in Warsaw.

For 63 days, Polish resistance fighters of the Home Army (Armia Krajowa), supported by civilians, fought against N**i Germany’s forces in an attempt to liberate the city before the arrival of the Soviet army.

The Uprising was a symbol of extraordinary courage, determination and the fight for freedom. Thousands of people took part in the struggle, including young scouts, medics, messengers and volunteers who served the city under extreme conditions.

Although the Uprising ended in defeat and Warsaw was largely destroyed, the courage and sacrifice of its participants remain an important part of Poland’s history and national memory.

Today, we remember all those who fought and lost their lives during the Warsaw Uprising.

Bots don’t have opinions but they’re getting better at pretending to be human

3. They push extreme and divisive views
4. They create the illusion that “everyone agrees”

When you’re surrounded by bots, it’s easy to believe that “everyone thinks this way.”

Marie Skłodowska-Curie on a future euro banknote? 💶

A pioneering scientist, Marie Skłodowska-Curie transformed our understanding of radioactivity through her discoveries of polonium and radium. 👩‍🔬

She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and remains the only person to have received Nobel Prizes in two different scientific disciplines: Physics and Chemistry.

The European Central Bank 🇪🇺 is considering her as one of the inspiring figures for the next generation of euro banknotes. If selected, she would appear under her full name, Marie Skłodowska-Curie, honouring her Polish roots and legacy 🇵🇱.
