The DigiGreeNPost project intends to bring resilience to the postal industry through the provision of upskilling for postal employees in green and digital competence areas, acting as an enabler toward impleme

nting digital and green policy agendas, building the understanding of the importance of digital and green-related jobs throughout the sector. The DigiGreeNPost Project alliance will create a common learning and skills recognition framework, user friendly and accessible to all postal workers, who are seeking jobs in postal and delivery companies in different countries across the EU. By influencing the current status of the qualification frameworks as well as affecting the Vocational Education and Training (VET) offered in each country, our project will enable the mobility of postal workers and unify therefore the postal sector in the EU.

🌐 2nd Training of Trainers for ! 📢
On January 28, 2025, we hosted the second Training of Trainers in a hybrid format, bringing together educators to explore the innovative training scheme designed for the twin transition of the sector.

🔹 AKMI International presented the comprehensive platform and training plan developed to equip postal employees with and skills
🔹 The Work-Based Learning (WBL) scheme was explained and introduced
🔹 Various examples of WBL activities were explored, offering hands-on learning experiences tailored to industry needs

The first e-learning module will be launched in the coming weeks, marking a major milestone in delivering the training to postal employees. 🙌 Stay tuned for more updates!

Throwback to the Greek in November 27, 2024! 🌟

ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΑ ΤΑΧΥΔΡΟΜΕΙΑ Α.Ε. , Hellenic Post hosted a remarkable gathering at its Athens headquarters; 154 employees participated to explore the training program, which aims at empowering the postal sector with key and competencies to meet modern challenges. 🙌

Presented by Aris Maragkakis from ELTA Hellenic Post and Makris Vangelis from AKMI International, and aligned with the and the Digital Education Action Plan, the training comprises three main steps:
🔸 eLearning,
🔸 face-to-face training,
🔸 Work-Based Learning

The event also included the intervention by Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο ΕΑΠ - Hellenic Open University regarding the Individual Learning Accounts (ILAs) platform, enabling personalized learning paths and professional certification.

On December 13th, 2024, we brought together key partners to promote collaboration and exchange knowledge on joint initiatives for the sustainable transition in the and sectors. 🤝

Highlighting efforts to drive the digital and green transition within the postal sector, ensuring resilience and innovation in the face of emerging challenges.

👉 Involvement of Compania Naţională Poşta Română in both projects.

This event was a significant milestone in fostering dialogue and cooperation among stakeholders committed to advancing sustainability and innovation within the postal and courier industries.

🌐 Today we had our first Training of Trainers in and skills for postal employees!
This exciting event, organized by the join efforts of AKMI International, Hellenic Open University and IPE, was crucial for the development of the course focusing on the green and digital transition in the postal sector. 📬 The trainers will then deliver the acquired knowledge to postal employees in targeted webinars.

➡️ Vangelis Makris, AKMI's project manager, presented the scopes of the project, focusing on the training needs of employees of the postal sector, and offered an insightful overview on the best practices collection all over Europe.

➡️ Hellenic Open University summed up the content of the course modules on the digital side, which will cover interesting units on digital transformation, data literacy and communication, and cybersecurity in the postal sector.

➡️ Vedran Horvat, from IPE, exposed the module dedicated to green skills, introducing the needs to promote infrastructures, environmental leadership, and sustainable operations management.

📈 AKMI International provided a comprehensive overview of the project work. Exciting updates on our journey towards a digital and green postal sector!

📚 We dived into WP4 by discussing the design and development of the e-learning platform, learning activities, and finalized our assessment methodology. Thanks to AKMI International for leading the discussion!

🚀 Centrul Pentru Promovarea Invatarii Permanente led an insightful session on WP5. We tackled the recruitment of learners, planning activities, and evaluating our training programs.

🌍 Eurocert SA introduced the development of a dual recognition scheme, including the creation of ILAs and a cross-border certification. Progressing towards standardized skills!
