The Embassy of the Republic of Vanuatu 🇻🇺 acknowledges with profound respect the historic adoption of United Nations Resolution A/80/L.65, an initiative introduced by Vanuatu and co-sponsored by a significant number of Member States.

The resolution received ✅️ 141 votes in favor ️, 8 votes against⛔️, and 28 abstentions✖️.

This is undoubtedly a landmark catalyst for international climate negotiation.
In light of this outcome, the Embassy wishes to convey its sincere and deep appreciation to the OACPS Secretariat - Secrétariat OEACP and its Member States, as well as to the Member States of the European Union 🇪🇺 for their steadfast support and constructive cooperation.
