From radiant roses🌹 to delicate lilies, Kenyan flowers are renowned for their high quality and beauty. Each year, ’s flower industry exports over 𝟮𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀 of flowers🌼, valued at $𝟵𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻, making a significant 1.3% contribution to the country's GDP. 📊

The flower industry stands as one of the largest employers in Kenya, directly providing employment to over 𝟭𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 people and supporting an estimated 𝟮 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 people indirectly 👥, with a majority of them being women. ✨

Since 2017, the #𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐚 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐥, a one-stop shop platform managed by , has empowered Kenya’s flower 🌸exporters to smoothly navigate the procedures to export their products in international markets.

This platform also provides the step-by-step trade procedures for other 90 export products and 93 import products in Kenya – from tea to coffee, avocado and more.

The Portal was developed by the Kenya Trade Network Agency (KenTrade) with the technical assistance of ITC Facilitates Trade in close collaboration with United Nations Conference on Trade and Development with financial support of the United States Agency for International Development through TradeMark Africa and the European Union under the #𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐔𝐏 programme.
