The company has been established in 1947 as a District Electricity Board, branch of the State Company "Montazhi" with main aim electrification of Varna and Dobrich areas. It takes active part in the building of Devnya Valley Industrial Complex, the Ferry-boat terminal, Power Station "Varna" along with the construction of electricity network up to 20, 110, 220 and 400 kV. As from 1979 the company b
ecomes branch of the industrial group "Electricity Networks", an enterprise for electrical installations and constructions. The latest changes in the power generation policy transform it to enterprise for electrification of Varna. Since 1992 the company is an Individual legal body registered in the Law for Trading under the name "Eliz" Co. In year 2000 "ELIZ" has been transformed into private company by its own managing staff and open branches in the Kingdom of Jordan (Amman), Iraq (Baghdad) and France (Bordeaux).
