يحتضن متحف البحرين الوطني "وثيقة شكر ووفاء" التي تحمل توقيع حضرة صاحب الجلالة الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة ملك البلاد المعظم حفظه الله ورعاه، وأبنائه الكرام، والموجّهة باسم جلالته وأبنائه إلى المواطنين الكرام، تعبيرًا عن الاعتزاز بمواقفهم الوطنية المشرفة، وتقديرًا لما جسّدوه من إخلاص وانتماء وولاء لوطنهم العزيز.
وبهذه المناسبة، صرّح الشيخ خليفة بن أحمد آل خليفة رئيس هيئة البحرين للثقافة والآثار قائلًا: "نستلهم من حضرة صاحب الجلالة ملك البلاد المعظم أيده الله النهج الحكيم القائم على تقدير المواقف الوطنية المشرفة لشعب البحرين، ولا سيما خلال الاعتداءات الإيرانية الآثمة، والتي أكدت أصالة هذا الشعب وعمق انتمائه لوطنه وقيادته.
ويمكن لزوار متحف البحرين الوطني الاطلاع على الوثيقة والتعرّف على ما تتضمنه من محبة ملك البلاد المعظم لمواطنيه وحرصه على تعزيز الوحدة الوطنية.

The Bahrain National Museum is displaying the “Document of Thanks and Loyalty”, bearing the signatures of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and Their Highnesses the sons of His Majesty the King. The document is addressed, on behalf of His Majesty and Their Highnesses his sons, to the citizens of Bahrain in recognition of their honourable patriotic stances and in appreciation of the sincerity, loyalty, and sense of belonging they have demonstrated towards their nation.
On this occasion, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, stated: “We draw inspiration from the wise approach of His Majesty the King, which is founded on recognising and appreciating the honourable patriotic stances demonstrated by the people of Bahrain, particularly during the Iranian aggression, which reaffirmed the steadfastness of the Bahraini people and the depth of their loyalty to their nation and leadership.
Visitors to the Bahrain National Museum can view the document and learn more about its contents, which reflect His Majesty the King’s affection for his citizens and his commitment to strengthening national unity.

في إطار جهودها المستمرة لصون التراث الثقافي غير المادي وتعزيز حضوره في المشهد الثقافي الوطني، نظمت هيئة البحرين للثقافة والآثار أمسية فنية بعنوان "ليلة مع الفن البحريني"، أحيتها فرقة إسماعيل دواس للفنون الشعبية.
واصطحبت الفرقة الحضور في رحلة فنية استحضرت ملامح الذاكرة البحرينية الأصيلة من خلال مجموعة من الفنون والأغاني الشعبية التي توارثتها الأجيال، مقدمة صورة حية تعكس ثراء التراث الثقافي غير المادي لمملكة البحرين وما يحمله من قيم اجتماعية وإنسانية وفنية راسخة.

As part of its ongoing efforts to safeguard intangible cultural heritage and promote its presence within the Kingdom’s cultural scene, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities organised a night of Bahraini folk arts featuring performances by Ismael Dawas Band.
The band presented a selection of traditional folk arts and songs passed down through generations, evoking elements of Bahrain’s authentic cultural memory. The performances highlighted the richness of Bahrain’s intangible cultural heritage and the enduring social, human, and artistic values it embodies.

استقبل الشيخ خليفة بن أحمد بن عبد الله آل خليفة رئيس هيئة البحرين للثقافة والآثار، سعادة السيد تشوي بيونغ سون سفير جمهورية كوريا لدى مملكة البحرين.
وخلال اللقاء، رحب رئيس هيئة البحرين للثقافة والآثار بسعادة السفير، مشيدًا بما تشهده العلاقات الثنائية بين مملكة البحرين وجمهورية كوريا من تطور وتقدم في مختلف المجالات، لا سيما في الثقافية والفكرية.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, received H.E. Choi Byung-sun, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities welcomed the Ambassador and commended the continued growth and development of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Korea across various fields, particularly in the cultural and intellectual sectors.

وفي بداية اللقاء، رحب الشيخ خليفة بن أحمد بن عبد الله آل خليفة بسعادة السفير، مؤكداً عمق العلاقات التاريخية التي تجمع مملكة البحرين وجمهورية الهند الصديقة، ومنوهاً بأهمية مواصلة تعزيز التعاون في مختلف المجالات، لا سيما الثقافية والفكرية.

At the outset of the meeting, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa welcomed the Ambassador, affirming the depth of the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of India. He also highlighted the importance of continuing to strengthen cooperation across various fields, particularly in the cultural and intellectual sectors.

The exhibition “From the Core to the Periphery: Kaleidoscope Journey” carries the spirit of Dhaka, weaving its stories into poetic images and meanings inspired by the rhythms of rural and urban life.

احتضن مركز الفنون التابع لهيئة البحرين للثقافة والآثار، بالتعاون مع سفارة جمهورية بنغلاديش الشعبية، افتتاح معرض "من القلب إلى الأطراف: رحلة عبر الكاليدوسكوب"، وذلك بحضور سعادة السيد محمد ريس حسن ساروير سفير جمهورية بنغلاديش الشعبية الشقيقة لدى مملكة البحرين، والسيدة فرح محمد مطر مدير عام الثقافة والمتاحف لدى الهيئة، إلى جانب عدد من السفراء وممثلي السلك الدبلوماسي، ومسؤولي الهيئة، وعدد من المهتمين بالمشهد التشكيلي والثقافي في المملكة.
وشهد المعرض تنوعًا لافتًا في التجارب الفنية والرؤى البصرية، التي جسّدت تعدد الخلفيات الأكاديمية والاتجاهات التشكيلية لدى الفنانين: كوهو، وكاناك، وجمال أحمد، ومحمد إقبال، بإشراف القيّم الفني نوروزمان كيسر.

The Art Centre of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, in collaboration with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, hosted the opening of the exhibition “From the Core to the Periphery: Kaleidoscope Journey”. The event was attended by H.E. Md. Rais Hasan Sarower, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Bahrain; Farah Mohamad Mattar, Director General of Culture and Museums at the Authority; as well as ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps, Authority officials, and figures from the visual arts and cultural scene in the Kingdom.
The exhibition featured a diverse range of artistic practices and visual perspectives reflecting the varied academic backgrounds and artistic approaches of the participating artists: Kuhu, Kanak, Jamal Ahmed, and Mohamed Iqbal, under the curation of Nuruzzaman Kaiser.

كشفت دراسة علمية نشرتها مجلة الشرق الأدنى عن معطيات جديدة تتعلق بالهيكل الإداري والسياسي لحضارة دلمون، استنادًا إلى تحليل ثلاث قطع طينية مختومة (Tokens) عُثر عليها خلال عمليات التنقيب في مواقع أثرية بمملكة البحرين. وقد نفذت هيئة البحرين للثقافة والآثار عمليات التنقيب في هذه المواقع بالتعاون مع مجموعة من الخبراء الدوليين، بقيادة المتخصص في حضارة دلمون، الدكتور ستيفن تيرب لورسن، وأسفرت هذه الجهود عن اكتشاف أثر مميز في منطقة الخليج العربي.

A scientific study published in the Journal of Near Eastern Studies has revealed new insights into the administrative and political structure of the Dilmun civilisation, based on an analysis of three inscribed clay tokens discovered during archaeological excavations at sites in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The excavations were carried out by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities in collaboration with a team of international experts led by Dr. Steffen Terp Laursen, a specialist in Dilmun civilisation. The findings have resulted in a significant archaeological discovery for the Arabian Gulf region.
