Camp Week 4 continued... Thursday, campers took to the lanes, some seasoned players while others were trying it out for the first time. Next stop... They stepped back in time as the travelled to Carter House to find about the early days of St. David's and Bermuda History. Friday involved a visit to Verdmont Museum, visiting the historic home, slave kitchen and visiting the story walk.

“Dig, Discover & Dream” camp 2026 - Week 4, Wednesday.
Today inquiring minds wanted to know how many tower levels they could make with catalog cards. (They mastered 7 levels!) Then they discovered they could make bridges and buildings. What aspiring engineers and architects!
This was hard work, so they stopped to make mini pizza muffins for a snack. Then it was on to designing. They created imaginative fashion pieces out of newspaper and assorted bracelets and necklaces from colorful beads. In between the played ping pong, balloon volleyball and obstacle races.

Week four of “Dig, Discover & Dream” camp saw the children explore and learn about the art of Michael Frith at the Bermuda National Gallery. The wonderful docent, Mikaela Kawaley Latham, kept the children spellbound with her informative presentation of the exhibit. There were lots of questions asked and the children were inspired to make puppets of their own.
After having a chat with the Mayor, the students enjoyed a break time at Victoria Park.

A BIG thank you to Miss B. from Bermuda Improv Group for donating her time to come and play some games with our campers today! They had a good time creating stories and more on the fly. You can catch her and others at the Comedy Cup Match Improv Show on the 17th and 18th at the BUEI! (for ages 16+, see poster for more details)

Join us for a fun time with your little one. For the month of July, Book Babies will be on SATURDAYS ONLY at 9:30 am. There will be no Book Babies in August. Book Babies will resume its normal Thursday and Saturday schedule the week after Labor Day. See you soon!
