OUTBermuda As a Registered Charity, OUTBermuda is here to serve and support the LGBTQ community in Bermuda and to be a resource for allies and the general public.

Organisers of Bermuda Pride Week! As an organisation seeking registered charity status in Bermuda, our objects are as follows:

1 – To promote and support the well-being, health, dignity, security, safety and protection of the LGBTQ community in Bermuda;

2 – To advance the education of the general public on issues of diversity, inclusiveness, awareness and acceptance as regards LGBTQ issues in Be

rmuda; and

3 – To advance human rights, conflict resolution and the promotion of equality and diversity relating to the LGBTQ community in Bermuda.

Meet our international panelist: Myron M. Beasley, Ph.D

Myron M. Beasley, Ph.D., serves as a professor of American Studies and Gender and Sexuality Studies at Bates College. He is the author of Performance, Art and Politics in the African Diaspora (2023). As a cultural critic, his research focuses on the intersection of gender/sexuality, art, and social change. Notably, his work emphasizes internalized colonial sexualities and gender performances within the African Diaspora. He has received numerous distinguished awards and fellowships, and most recently, he was honored with The Constance H. Carlson Public Humanities Prize.

Additionally, he is an international curator; his projects include the first Haitian Biennale, Dark’art, Print Post Power, Re.Past.Malaga and, most recently, Accra!

For over 20 years, Kristin White has been a community organiser, entrepreneur, and writer in Bermuda. She is involved in several community and advocacy projects, including as a founding member of Social Justice Bermuda.

Her popular St. George’s retail store, Long Story Short, is curated to feature Black and female artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs. From here, Kristin offers top-rated cultural tours and experiences.

Through her work as a historian, Kristin will be providing context on slavery in Bermuda for this panel.

About Rev Dr Augustine:

Rev Dr Augustine Tanner-Ihm, Minister of Wesley Community Church, is a psychologist and a theologian with extensive research on post-colonial thought and a public theologian.

He has spoken at the Stonewall National Workplace Conference, Pride and Glory Festival Manchester, The Durham Union, BBC Breakfast, Church of England General Synod, UK Houses of Parliament, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Radio 4, BBC Songs of Praise, and Channel 5. He has written articles in the Church Times, The Moody Standard, and The Church of England Newspaper.

We are so excited to announce one of our four panelists: Linda Bogle-Mienzer!

About Linda:

Linda Bogle-Mienzer is a Bermudian activist, Labour Relations Organizer, and LGBTQI+ Representative for the Caribbean Region with Public Services International.

As a proud gay Black woman, Linda uses her lived experience and years of advocacy to champion human rights, intersectionality, and social justice, with a strong focus on LGBTQI+ rights, women’s rights, and equity in the workplace and wider community. Known for her fearless voice and authentic approach, she is committed to creating spaces where people feel seen, protected, and empowered to live fully and unapologetically.

On Sunday, June 7 we’re setting sail on the first Pride event of 2026! This intersectional cruise honours both Q***r and cultural identity, offering space to cool off, connect, and celebrate what makes Bermuda’s LGBTQ+ community so vibrant.

Wear the colours of whatever flag you want to represent you! Your heritage? Your gender? Your sexuality? Rep those colours! Come bold, come bright, and bring your pride as we take joy, music, and connection out onto the water togetherb

This four-hour cruise includes a stop to swim - please wear/bring a bathing suit.

Drinks available for purchase onboard. A light lunch is included in the ticket price.
