TEAM IBORI FOR OKOWA BEGINS MASSIVE MOBILIZATION FOR OBOREVWORI

A political pressure group, "Team Ibori for Okowa 2019", that supported the re-election of the Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has started massive mobilization for the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for next year's election, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
Speaking in a meeting of all Local Government Area (LGA) Co-ordinators of Team Ibori For Okowa at Sapele last week, the State Coordinator, Hon. Edmond Guanah, appealed to the LGA Coordinators to come out with a blue print on how there can start mobilizing in their various LGAs.
Hon. Guanah further said that the major task for the group is to work for the victory of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori in the general polls in 2023 and other PDP candidates contesting for various positions during the election.
He said that he emergence of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori as a governor of Delta State in 2023 will bring more development in the state and a continuation from were Dr ifeanyi Okowa stopped.
Responding on behalf of the Coordinators, Comrade Omasan Okotie, who represented Warri North LGA Coordinator, stated that the group will always deliver come 2023 because it has all that it takes to mobilize the populance since the group has done it before in 2019, adding that starting from that day, they will go to their various wards and units cut across the state preaching Rt. Hon. Oborevwori goodwill for Deltans.
The group unanimously changed the name from Team Ibori For Okowa 2019 to Team Ibori for Sheriff 2023.
