The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) held their 2016 meeting for the upcoming hurricane season yesterday with the Exuma team.

The US Northern Command completed their training for Exuma's Essential services in the area of disaster relief yesterday. A donation of rescue equipment was also donated.

This team had their first test this week when a tourist swimming in the waters of Jolly Hall beach tried to go for a raft that was taken out to sea. They just happen to be conduction their water rescue procedures in the same area, they rescued her.
