Two of Long Island’s future aviators attended Maine ACE Camp in northern Maine this summer. Marcian Emmanuel and Calvin Kuska were selected and sponsored by The Little Cottage Library of The Bahamas and the Long Island Young Aviators Club to attend based on their interest in a future career in aviation. "Full house at the Cottage". We showcased six amazing people as they shared their journeys in the field of Aviation. From Captain Kareem Taylor who worked ten years for that prestigious position to Jordan Dittmar, who has always loved flying, but his first love is baseball. Kaiden Shearer shared his Embry Riddle life, Issac Fox on how he decided to fly with his Dad, Marty, and Eric Fox and Nathalia Edgecombe who just graduated from Long Island High Schools and will move on to higher education in aviation or related industries.
The common denominator to each of these beautiful stories was the need to work hard, be humble, be disciplined, and everything is possible if you do your very best, in all aspects of your life, and keep asking questions!
