The South Beach Constituency’s Professional Pathway brought students together for an engaging experience focused on career exploration, professional development, and preparing for the future. From learning about different career paths to sharpening the skills needed to succeed, every activity was designed to encourage our young people to think bigger and plan ahead.

Investing in our youth means investing in the future of South Beach.

As we prepare for our Back 2 School Giveaway this Saturday, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the generous community donors who have contributed to making this initiative possible.

Your generosity is more than a donation—it is an investment in the children and families of South Beach. Because of your continued support, we can help our young people start the new school year with greater confidence, excitement, and the resources they need to succeed.

Join us August 27 & 28 at Bible Truth Ministries, Cowpen Road, for two days of practical training in communication, workplace readiness, résumé skills, teamwork, leadership and time management.

Open to recent high school graduates, community members and business teams up to age 30.

Back to school is almost here, and the South Beach Constituency is ready to celebrate with our residents!

Join us on Saturday, August 29 from 1–3 PM at the grounds of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Blue Hill Road South, for an afternoon of food, drinks, music, games, face painting, bouncing castles, popcorn, cotton candy and more.

School supplies will also be available while they last.

South Beach residents only. We look forward to seeing you and the family!

Let’s all do our part to keep our community clean, green, and pristine. I encourage all residents to properly dispose of household waste and make use of our transfer waste stations. Together, we can keep our streets, neighborhoods, and public spaces clean and welcoming for everyone.
