The budget debate started today.

Four pillars: Security. Opportunity. Reform. Affordability.

Each one means something real for Golden Isles. Safer communities. Pathways for our young people. Systems that work better. Cost of living that doesn't crush families.

That's the work ahead. I'm ready to make sure Golden Isles gets its fair share and our voices are heard in Parliament.

I have said from the beginning that this work belongs to this community, and the people of Golden Isles proved exactly that.

Tonight, this constituency sent a message and it was heard loud and clear.

You looked around you, you saw the work, and you chose to keep it moving. I don't take that lightly. Not for one moment.

This is not the finish line. This is the starting gun.

Everything we built during this campaign is the foundation for everything we are about to deliver.

Golden Isles, I am ready to get back to work, for you, with you, because of you.

You opened your doors, you gave your time, and you made your voices heard — and I am honoured to have stood in this constituency as your representative through every step of this campaign.

Whatever the results bring, the work we built together is real. The programmes are running. The conversations happened. The connections were made. None of that goes away.
