On Thursday, March 12, 2026, the Town Planning Committee held a public hearing at which Ms. Sheryl Simmons presented her rezoning application. The proposal involves changing the zoning designation of Lot 2, Block 2, of Vista Marina Subdivision, from single-family to multi-family residential use.

The hearing also allowed residents the opportunity to express their views, comments, and concerns regarding the proposed development.

Following the public hearing, the Committee will proceed with its review and further deliberation of the application.
