Bahamas Against Crime Bahamas Against Crime is a private sector, not-for-profit organization designed to address the near epidemic crisis of crime in our nation. C.B. Moss.

It was developed by:

1. BAHAMAS CHRISTIAN COUNCIL
The national umbrella organization of Christian Churches. The principal officer is President Bishop John Humes.

2. CIVIL SOCIETY BAHAMAS
Representing all non-governmental institutions, organizations and groups. The principal officer is President Fred Munnings.

3. COUNCIL FOR SOCIAL & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
A civic group made up of members from a b

road cross-section of society. Their focus is social and economic advancement of all Bahamians, particularly the masses. The principal officer is Chairman Rev. Bahamas Against Crime will closely follow the model established by the very successful HANDS ACROSS THE BAHAMAS (H.A.B.) Project conducted in 1988. Bahamas Against Crime firmly believes that crime affects all of us, and that all of us have the ability to affect crime, We have developed a plan of action to address the crime problem that embroils ALL residents of The Bahamas, regardless of race, gender, socio-economic status, or country of origin. Bahamas Against Crime will help to raise the understanding of all residents that crime is the product of all of our actions – not just those of the ‘criminal minority.’

January 10th 2024 makes exactly one year since our President collapsed in St. AGNES Anglican Church, he was in an induced come for 1 month, he is recuperating at home, attending therapy three times per week, the Doctors said that he is a living miracle, please help us praise God for his recovery.

As the crime crisis appears to deepen, this past weekend saw three murders along with several shootings and five persons stabbed.

As Bahamas Against Crime has been saying over the past 17 years, the crime situation will be effectively addressed when the people become serious & sufficiently concerned. It appears that we have not yet reached that point
