LEGACY FORWARD: National Sporting Legends Comic Drawing & Essay Competition

The Ministry of Youth & Sports invites students across The Bahamas to honour the champions, pioneers, coaches, and sporting icons who have helped shape our national story.

Students are encouraged to choose a Bahamian sporting legend who inspires them and bring that journey to life through an original comic drawing and essay. This is a chance to celebrate achievement, creativity, discipline, perseverance, and the power of sport to inspire the next generation.

The competition is open in three divisions:

Primary School
Junior High
Senior High

Great prizes will be awarded, and selected finalists will have their work featured in a national exhibition during key sports events.

Submission Deadline: October 16, 2026

Let’s honour their journey.
Let’s celebrate our legends.
Let’s inspire the future.
